For the seventh consecutive year, the symposium is co-sponsored by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), the AGA Institute and the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO). 

The symposium is the premiere oncology event offering the most up-to-date strategies in the prevention, screening and treatment of GI cancers. This is the best opportunity for physicians and other medical professionals to learn about recent advances in research and in clinical practice in order to improve quality care and patient outcomes.  

 

This three-day multidisiciplinary symposium offers educational sessions and abstract presentations focused on each type of GI cancer, including esophageal, stomach, hepatobiliary tract, pancreatic, small bowel, colon and rectum.
